The fluid is routed through a system of pipes and/or hoses sized for the system. The liquid is eventually forced out of a nozzle or similar, which depending on the size determines how hard/concentrated the output of the jet is.
It is the nozzle that determines the outlet pressure and flow, therefore, you do not necessarily need a large system to do the job, the nozzle you choose is equally important.
There are a variety of nozzles designed for specific tasks. It is important that the nozzle is sized to fit the specific solution (water pressure and flow), if the nozzle size is incorrect it can cause unnecessary wear on the nozzle and ultimately the whole system.
